- Hi All,
-
- I bought VC++ 1.5 Professional edition, and I have a few questions, which I
- hope some techies out there might be able to answer.
-
- 1. I am primarily using it to write DOS applications. Is there any downfalls
- of using VC++1.5 Professional, instead of a DOS-based compiler? Are there
- any differences or advantages?
-
- 2. A friend was going to write me a templated linked list. VC++ 1.5 does not
- seem to support templates, although the keyword does get highlighted as if
- it was syntacially (Correct word?) correct. Anyone know why this is?
-
- 3. I have been using VB 3.0 for a few years now, and I was wondering how
- different it is in C++ to create the same effect. Classes are confusing
- out the moment, but I am generally getting the idea!
-
- Thanks again to anybody who can shed some illumination on these Q's!
-
- --
- Cheers,
-
- Ben
